This is my favorite dessert to bring to gatherings! It’s a sweet treat my family loves to bake, eat, and share. The best part? It’s super easy to make and starts with a boxed cake mix.
Pro tip: Warm up a slice and serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream — it’s absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
• 1 box vanilla cake mix
• 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
• 1 cup sour cream
• ½ cup oil
• 4 eggs
• 1 bag mini chocolate chips
Directions
1. Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
2. Pour into a greased Bundt pan.
3. Bake at 325°F for 45–55 minutes.
One of my favorite things about this recipe is how easy it is to switch it up. You can try different cake mix and pudding flavors to create new combinations!

Sweet treats are one of my love languages! However, I don't realllly like to bake. So, I either make brownies from a box, or I have two other go-to favorites that I have made for special occasions depending on the season.
These are just as delicious as they sound! My notes on this recipe were "very good!" and add more blueberries. These would be great for a spring or summer gathering - as long as they are refrigerated until dessert.
This recipe is pretty versitile because you can swap out the ice cream flavor however your heart desires. We use peppermint ice cream for Christmas, but it would also be amazing with a carmel swirl ice cream. With gluten free oreos, I can dig in also.

My sister-in-law introduced me to this simple recipe, and I’ve never looked back. I have been a cake baker and cake decorator since I was a little girl. This simplifies baking and frosting and feeds a crowd.
The beauty of the Texas Sheet Cake is that you make it in a jelly roll pan, also known as a rimmed baking sheet, so it’s 10” x 15”. The frosting is made while it bakes, and you spread it on as soon as the cake comes out of the oven, while it’s still hot! The butter-based frosting melts on top, then hardens again into a rich layer of chocolate-on-chocolate. If you want a little added texture, sprinkle some chopped pecans on top. I promise your family and friends will start requesting this at gatherings!!

Ask anyone in my family (or close friend group) and they will say this is a staple of mine to bake and bring. I mean, who doesn't love a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie?! An old friend, who actually painted and wallpapered our previous home, introduced me to this recipe years ago and ever since then it's been a big hit!
It's the best gift to give my dad on holidays or Father's Day because he basically has everything he needs so this is something he can't return or say no to :) It's one of the contributions I bring to every family holiday. When my husband says he can't stop at one, I know I've done a "damn" good job! Put some real, vanilla ice cream in between two cookies, freeze them, cut them in halves and you got yourself the perfect dessert for your next dinner party! Here is the recreated recipe: Every Damn Day Chocolate Chip Cookies

I wish I had a great answer for this but I just don’t. I definitely have romanticized the idea of having freshly baked treats displayed beautifully on my kitchen island. But the reality is, I don’t bake and I probably never will.
However, the one item my kids do ask for consistenly is banana bread. NO it is not made fresh. This is still me we are talking about. I use the Simple Mills Banana Bread Mix. And you know what?? It’s delicious and everyone is happy.
