It seems only fitting that Jen answered all of our top travel questions just before taking off for the most complex trip she's ever planned - Japan! While Jen's love of traveling with her own family runs deep, her and her team of travel planners have guided and planned some truly special trips for hundreds of families. Kids & Social Media: How do you manage?
Our kids were born into a world with social media. While we may have checked AOL Instant Messenger away messages in college, that's the equivalent of a carrier pigeon to what they have at their fingertips today. What are the best and worst things you bought because you were "influenced"?
There's no doubt that the algorithm is trying to figure out just what to slip into our feeds to see if we'll click through. Sometimes, we find fantastic recommendations and other times we end up with duds. Think of this as the highs and l
ows of what we've been influenced to purchase. On either side of the coin, we'd share these successes or cautionary tales with our deerest friends.


Share your thoughts on summer boredom!
Let's talk about the speed of summer - yes, it does seem to fly by, but overall how does a summer day feel? Rushed, on-the-go, scheduled, "full" OR slower, unscheduled, wandering and "open"? Either way, when we settle into the rhythm of our summers, do our kids get bored? Get busy? Get creative? Or, get curious?


What is your favorite way to enjoy a watermelon?
To quote Harry Styles, "Watermelon sugar high!" Or, shall we say, "Watermelon sugar - Hi!"?? Bringing a lighter look at a summer favorite today - the little "ah" that comes from a perfectly sweet summer watermelon. On a hot day, poolside, pre-cut, mixed into a mocktail (or cocktail), added to a salad, happily on a plate next to something grilled - let us count the (little) ways that watermelon is such a simple treat.

How do you use AI?
In one way or another, AI is becoming more and more a part of daily life. We've all heard the discussions around "the wild, wild west," the gold rush of AI, how kids use AI in school, AI-generated images and the power this resource has to change daily tasks. So, here 6 moms all share just how we are using AI "as a tool, not a crutch", as Ashley explained. As something we will all undoubtedly learn more about, here is a collection of how we're turned to AI, so far.


How do you handle school lunches?
School lunches can run the gamut - from the ever familiar PB&J to a high schooler who goes out to lunch, eat kiddo has a different preference. With 18 kids among us, we each share how we handle this mid-day meal (or heavy snack), if we pack a lunch, when and some favorites. As a woman's leadership coach, keynote speaker, podcast host, and mom, Rebecca shares guidance on many stages - all over the country. And, this week she's spilling her goodness here! How do you stay connected to extended family?
Maybe you grew up with all of your extended family nearby or maybe they are scattered all over the country. The ease staying connected can be influenced by proximity, but it can also be influenced by effort - and technology.


Coffee or Tea and how do you make it?
Something so simple as a cup of coffee or tea has a lovely way of becoming cherished daily ritual. As Emilee shares, "I saw online someone say they are at the age that at bedtime they are already thinking about their excitement for tomorrow’s cup of coffee. I feel that." And, Ashley shares, "It’s less about the caffeine and more about the ritual. It’s comforting. It’s grounding. It just feels like me." So, today we share just what we fill our mugs with - and how.


How do you prepare for a trip?
From the planning to the packing, preparing for a trip involves countless steps before we're ready for take off. Whether we are packing for ourselves (or overpacking!), helping our kids get ready or getting all the ducks in a row that make travel more seamless, each step gets us closer to having a great vacation.

How sweet it is to have a favorite sweet treat! And, how much sweeter it is to have a go-to recipe when the mood, the day or the special event calls for a homemade dessert.
