Alaska is my favorite place in the world because it feels like stepping into a living masterpiece. The landscapes are breathtaking—towering mountains, endless forests, glaciers, and fjords that seem too majestic to be real. The air is unbelievably crisp and clear, and the wildlife—bears, eagles, whales, orcas—reminds you that nature still rules, here. Every amazing hike feels like a journey into the wild.
But it’s not just the scenery—it’s the people who make Alaska unforgettable. There’s a resilience and adaptability here that’s quietly inspiring. Life in a place where some towns can only be reached by boat or plane requires a certain strength and openness, and Alaskans seem to carry both effortlessly. They live close to nature, in a way that feels authentic and deeply rooted. That spirit of independence, paired with warmth and community, makes Alaska not just beautiful, but deeply human. It’s a place that humbles and lifts you at the same time.
With an Alaskan vacation, the wilderness feels incredibly remote, yet we make getting there effortless for our clients. Surrounded by breathtaking, untouched landscapes, it’s a chance to truly connect with nature—without the usual challenges of reaching such a secluded place.

My home. Not the house so much, but the people in it. No matter where I roam, I always long to come back to my kids and husband in the home we’ve created.
When I met my husband, I was just 22, and within a few months, I was falling in love. He left to spend Christmas with his family, and it was the first time we’d been apart more than a day since we met (you remember that young love?).
He left, and I felt a deep sense of homesickness. I was so confused. I was with my parents and siblings celebrating the holiday. Why was I homesick?
Then I realized that my home had shifted to him. He was a part of what my heart considered home. When I think of my favorite place in the world, it is defined by what makes me feel most whole, loved, and safe. I think of the joy I’ve experienced and the heartache I’ve recovered from - all of that has been with my family. Especially now, with my kids growing older and only a few years from leaving the nest, home with them is where I want to be as much as possible.

If I had to choose one favorite place in the world, hands down it’s Nantucket.
It’s just a 40-minute drive and a 45-minute boat ride away, but somehow it feels like another world. The cobblestone streets, the hydrangeas, the homemade bread shops tucked between high-end boutiques and five-star restaurants- it’s New England charm meets luxury escape. You can bike to the beach, visit a local farm, sip wine at a brewery, or read a book by the waves in total peace.
And it holds a really special place in my heart because it’s where we got engaged. That alone makes it feel sacred.
It’s family-friendly, yes, but right now, it’s my grown-up escape. A little solo getaway with girlfriends or my husband is pure magic. I can go completely off the grid or dive right into the action downtown. It’s cozy and elevated all at once.
Nantucket is my MOST happy place where I feel relaxed, inspired, and like myself again. A true adult playground I never get tired of.

Maui! Our favorite place to visit! The views, food, culture, weather, and experiences are amazing!
I feel blessed that I have been able to travel in my life time, and Maui is a place that holds such a special place in my heart. Matt and I had our honeymoon there, then started to bring each of our kids as they were born.
Maui is such a beautiful island that is the perfect blend of seclusion, relaxation, adventure, and tourist attractions.
Each time we visit we get to experience something new while enjoying the old memories. Definitely add it to your bucket list!

Immediately my mind assumes a travel destination. However when I really sit down in my own thoughts, my honest answer would be home with my family.
Home sweet home, right? Growing up, my childhood home was such a place of comfort. Music was always playing in the background, lamps turned on in the evening for a warm glow, and traditional, classic home decor style. I think that is why I place such an emphasis on making my adult home look and feel the same way. My husband and I, together, strive for a mix of cozy and inviting.
Most of my favorite moments are made at home. We love game nights with the kids, movie nights, and holidays when family visits. My kids love hosting their friends at our house, where we always want friends to feel welcome.
If I were to pick a favorite travel destination, currently our family has fallen in love with Martha’s Vineyard. It has those same cozy, warm, laid-back feels that make us feel at home. We stay at the same resort where our kids enjoy the morning kids camps, my husband and I take our daily walks into Edgartown for coffee, and we attend the resort’s clambake where we are seated out on the lawn under a tent with other families.
Simple, slow and with my family is my favorite place to be.

My favorite place in the world - I immediately thought, Spain! I studied abroad in Seville when I was a junior in college, had the absolute time of my life and met my husband. While I cherish the memories and we still have plans to go back, I would say it my favorite place to lust over. Now, a place we absolutely love is a lake in Wisconsin. We've been to two different lakes half a dozen times and every time, we find the perfect mix of peaceful and playful moments.
Our two favorite lakes are Lake Delavan and Lauderdale Lakes in Wisconsin. For the past two years, we've rented an Airbnb on Lake Delavan and the experience is one that simply brings us together. Every day, we head out on the boat for tubing, water skiing and swimming (with a lillypad, this also looks like our boys wrestling on a water mat - I may not fully understand that, but they have the time of their lives). We laugh each time someone is tossed off the tube, the kids light up when they talk about how much "air" they got and I'm always amazed at how the thrill never wears off. Water skiing also poses a fun challenge. I learned to ski when I was 16 and I joke that it is a process of being pulled around the lake by your face until your body figures out the mechanics. But, once you get it, it feels like floating on water- literally. It is so fun to see our kids take on the challenge and delight when they get it.
At the end of the day, the lake just feels comfortable. It feels like home - but without any of the chores or carpools of home. We don't have a schedule, there are no dinner reservations, certainly no makeup - just a lot of time on the water, silly moments and sleeping soundly.
